a coffee conundrum

Yesterday I purchased some of those chilled coffee's they have in supermarkets, but forgot to put them in the 'fridge. Now this is where the conundrum comes in, without thinking I just opened one and began drinking, and of course it was not 'chilled' merely cold, BUT and this is the odd thing, it actually tasted good, and yet if you allow an ordinary cup of coffee to get cold it tastes disgusting. WHY?

Not my cup of tea. Is it like coffee milkshake? I've never fancied iced tea either!

Well Des,my guess is they are made from milk, and coffee made from milk and cold tastes fine by me.

OB. In answer to your question, iced coffee has been around for years, and usually drank in the summer.

Twizard, I see your tag says, Shine on you crazy diamond. A good friend of mine said that to me, shortly before he expired, maybe that is relevant in someway, or maybe not.

Are you trying to get rid of me? Or is it a bad omen for you? I can change it back to "Good Morning Starshine" if you like.
