Happy Thursday Folk

Taken at dawn from my back garden. I picked half a barrowful of runner beans yesterday ( well, that might be a slight exaggeration ) but they are coming in thick and fast now............my neighbours are pleased !

Morning all. You're very lucky Alan with your Runner beans, I don't know what's happened to mine, I have only had one handful, none on there now.

Its another hot, bright sunny day here in Essex.

Morning everyone, just back from my walk with the dogs around Vicar Water near Sherwood Forest, and what a glorious place it is on such a day....



Just pottering around today and my Mum is coming over for lunch and yes, we'll be having a plateful of beans as well...

btw, I pulled up my beans Like Susie's, they came to nothing .. a first for us. Been growing them for over 40 years! I'm wondering if it's just Essex

Hi Barry, if I've got it right, just the other side of the tree on the left there is a small sandy beach. That's where we used to park ourselves when I was a kid and we'd go swimming from that point.

Good morning fellow members I should have been going shopping this morning then my son is coming to lunch but I woke early with some kind of tummy bug so won't be going anywhere

I guess I caught it from Hannah when she was here on Tuesday.

Those with failing runner beans, can't have the insects pollinating them properly, could always go tickle them with a small paintbrush.
