Thanks, all. My dog will certainly get longer walks, my camera will get more use, my piano playing will start again, I can now read a book during the day if I feel like it without feeling guilty, I might finally get down to learning Spanish properly, I can finally try to piece together some writing I have planned for years, I now have time to tackle the jungle that is the garden that had been neglected for 6 years before I moved here, and who knows, I might even learn how NOT to be the world's worst housekeeper and do more dusting...

Enjoy your retirement, hopefully as much as I'm enjoying mine. Still very busy BUT doing things I want to do. I feel as if I've got my real life back.

I haven't retired but I now work for myself from home and have just moved to Cornwall which is something I have dreamed about for years.
Life is good!

I retired 5 years ago and still get up every morning feeling how lucky I am not to be going to work anymore .
