Happy Monday Everyone.

Whitby Abbey. We still haven't had any appreciable amount of rain here in Kettering. Some plants are starting to look distressed now. Fingers crossed for the forecast rain today.

Good morning folks.

Been up since 5:30 (didn't sleep too well) but with the wonder of caffeine I feel like I've had a full nights sleep. Unfortunately I've built up such a tolerance to it that I need a full pot of coffee to give me that effect, but it works in the end.

Going to mow my lawn today (if it stays dry) and power-wash the roof.

I am running myself a bath just now. Tried to have one last night but couldn't get any hot water. Why? Well, somebody (not me of course) bumped up against the power switch for the boiler yesterday and turned it off.

Good Morning all, although it doesn't look good here, pouring with rain and has been overnight, was torrential yesterday afternoon too.
Did manage to go out and come back yesterday evening though, without getting wet.

Indoor bowling this afternoon, hoping this weather deters the outdoor bowlers, we have to share the same very small car park.
