Happy Thursday Folk

A medieval building in Tubingen in Germany. By coincidence a man came knocking on my door yesterday asking if I wanted a window cleaner. So I've set him on to do the upstairs ones at £5 a time. That was my pay for a whole week when I first started work and he'll get that for 20 mins work !

Morning everyone..
Sunny skies this morning so we are taking the dogs out first thing and then we can spend some time in the garden tidying up and picking fruit, and also picking a salad for lunch...love it..

Sounds cheap enough to me Alan, a downright bargain in fact...

Good morning everyone. Going to be 30 degrees here today. So hope
everyone has a nice day. You see Alan, you never know how that
window cleaner came to you yesterday after your declaration of climbing
up on your windows at your age. Fate is great sometimes. Bargain
price and gives a guy a job too.

Good job you got the window cleaner Alan, mine charges me £5 for upstairs and downstairs, why didn't you get downstairs done at same time?

I'm off out dancing this afternoon, will be first time in a whole week, owing to the Tues one being cancelled, and sunday is only fornightly.

Hi Valice, I can easily do the downstairs windows myself and I not yet looking to have ALL my jobs taken off me. Having said that, I no longer do my own painting and decorating - I pay someone to do that.

A belated good morning everyone
I went out early to do the shopping then straight into the garden when I returned .
I managed to get the lawns mown,the borders tidied and I lifted the garlic for drying

Now off for a late lunch.

Hello everyone a scorcher of a day here, 27ºC at the moment.

Had a visit to the hairdressers this morning, feeling much cooler after a hair trim

Tomorrow we will be taking Cassie into the Cattery for her 'holiday', she has been going there for the last 16 years so feels comfortable the owners who make a big fuss of her.

Alan, my window cleaner charges me £5 for upstairs and downstairs large double bay windows .... and he will also clean out the gutters whilst up the ladder at no extra charge if we request it.
