Happy Tuesday Folk.

Taken in autumn in Tubingen in Germany. Does anyone else grow blackberries in their garden ? I look like having a bumper crop this year and they are just starting to change clour.

Re: Happy Tuesday Folk.

Morning everyone, lovely start again here today, and a beautiful sky first thing...

Heading off to the forest with the dogs shortly, a few odd jobs and then out to lunch at the pub with friends.

We grow Oregon Thornless blackberries Alan, and like you it looks like being a huge crop this year...

Have a great day folks,

Barry

Re: Happy Tuesday Folk.

Alan matey, when ripe, pick blackberries place approx 2lb in a 2 litre Kilner jar. pour over a whole bag (1 Kilo) of sugar and as much of a (cheap) bottle of Gin as you can get in to fill the jar to within 1 cm of the top. Over the next few days, with the (Handle) of a wooden spoon, stir the sugar gently until its all dissolved. Clap lid tightly on jar and store away in a cool place for the next 3 months. Voila!!! - Blackberry Gin - should be perfect as a drink at Xmas!!!

Good morning everyone. Trees don't look as blonde as those on your photo just yet Alan. Rain expected again today. Waiting for Thursday as its predicted at 27 degrees and no rain in England so washing day for me.
Hope everyone has a nice day today. Going out to dodge the showers, take care.

Good morning fellow members I have little Hannah all day today and I think it is going to be wet so we won't be able to get out much so it will be a day of playing indoors for us .

Enjoy your day everyone

Re: Happy Tuesday Folk.

Good Morning all, was nice earlier, gone a bit cloudy now, but supposed to be an ok day with rain tomorrow and 2 nice days after.

No dancing today, hall being used for something else. Better try and have clearance day instead.

Hubby having a washing machine observation, it seems to have a problem with the cold water fill, thought it was low pressure, but pressure not that low.
