Seems Brighton escaped the rain and thunderstorms last night - none of that here at all although it was excessively hot and did cloud over during the evening and threatened a storm.

Good morning everyone
the air is a little fresher this morning after last night's torrential thunderstorm which resulted in a few road closures. My more tender flowers have been flattened by the force of the rain but I'm hoping they will pick up again during the day.Enjoy your day!

Morning everyone, heavy rain and storms here overnight and as I write, but my garden is thankful.....let's just hope it knows when to stop...
I've just finished my Tuesday chores and enjoying a coffee whilst deciding how to waste the rest of the day without looking at a newspaper or watching the news. Although I am a royalist at heart, the media coverage on yesterday's events is so absolutely banal it is embarrassing to watch

Good Morning all.We've also had some rain, and hubby tells me a loud clap of thunder about 6am which I missed, must have dropped back off into a deep sleep. Was awake about 4ish and had to read a while to settle me down again.
Your right about the overkill of baby news last night. The news flash followed by more details, if more there was to give, at the proper news time would have been enough.
To cancel a programme for an hour plus another half hour at news time was far too much, and they are still prattling on this morning.
