Who Believes There's Other Life Out There........

I have some time before I put the animals to bed so I thought I'd ask this.

In case anyone's wondering, I do believe we're not the only ones in this universe......

I would say it's almost certain that other life forms exist elsewhere in the universe, what form they would take I have no idea.

With the discovery of more and more exoplanets, I think the probability has to be a virtual certainty.

It is natural for folk to muse the idea, is there other life "out there", what if, there is other life "in here".

Just supposing ...

there are beings somewhere out there with a very powerful telescope observing Earth as it was millions of years ago when the planet was populated by Neanderthal man. They might want to blend in when they visit our planet and arrive wearing strange clothes and speaking in grunts ...... Oh my gosh, they are already here!

It would be supremely arrogant for anyone to assume that life forms do not exist elsewhere somewhere in the universe. Whether there is any chance of us finding that other life form(s) is a different question. Given the vast expanse of space I think it highly unlikely that we will ever 'conquer' space.

If there are any other "life" forms out there, they will have nothing in common with us.

What I would like to know is "Are the things we take for normal likely to be the same"

Would they be subject to the same laws as us. FOr example GRAVITY.

Would they be considered life if they were radio waves or colours or spirit beings, or sound or . Its useles to speculate.
