Seeing what the girls wear to school - No - shorts are a sensible idea, as long as they fit properly and they're not showing their bits

Can't see a problem with shorts, although when my boys were at school getting into long trousers was a big thing I can't see either of them protesting to get back into shorts at that age.

I have to say I don't see a problem with it either - classrooms can be stuffy places at the best of times.

Yes - I also remember trudging to school through deep snow, getting soaking wet and we had to sit in those wet clothes in lessons! Right - it toughened us up, they can suffer in the heat and get hairs on their chests instead

When I was at school we didn't come out of short into long trousers until we started to grow facial hair !
