Words Fail me!!!
On our 'local' news this evening was a story about a stupid American. He decided to set off in a rubber dinghy from Weymouth in Dorset to row (he only had one oar) to Ireland. He had no food and water, no emergency flares, no radio, no means whatsoever of contacting anyone in an emergency, no sun screen cream and his legs were already badly blistered when found by a local deep-sea diver. What an idiot!!!!

MY uncle Vivian had swum across the IRish SEa many times , in his youth ,I have to say though.
Poor old boy has dementure & had actually passed the 3/4 milestone when he realised he too tired to go the final 1/4 so very wisely turned around and headed back to the English coast
