I still have the Telegram Mum received, telling her my dad was missing presumed dead from 1944, I can still remember it arriving to this day, the envelope with it's distinguishable black lines on.
Mum at only 28 with a child and having to work, because we had our home demolished by a bomb in the 40's blitz.
I look back and thank my lucky stars for a great mum, and stepdad, without them I don't know where I would have been today.
Thats a great family document to have to pass down the family line Arthur.
I still have the two telegrams we got on our wedding day in 1965, you have me getting all sentimental now.
