I don't think much of experts in statistics Julie.
The "Experts" get it wrong again and whole groups of 90 and 100 year olds go missing from the books, maybe they all got so fed up with experts changing their minds that they all wandered off into the sunset where there are no experts to confuse them anymore. Now it seems we have a new set of people, the between census people, the disappearing oldies, "There are not as many as we thought there would be", what now? "Ve hav veys of making you reach 100 and staying ver you are".

Very good Joe, that would put a stop to their ramblings, and keep them in their place alright, "Where's all the missing old folks?" "Down in Uncle Joe's getting drunk and singing"

Re: Are we not living as long as predicted ?

Which is why, when the 2011 census was published, he went straight to the statistics about elderly populations.
"There were 30,000 fewer people aged in their 90s than previously believed," he says - 429,000 instead of 457,000.
Perhaps they were too busy having a good time to bother about filing in the census
....Yes I know you have to fill it in but but who is going to put a 90 year old in prison for not doing so
