Robotic Alarm Clock

Great for heavy sleepers, an alarm clock that not only sounds off, but jumps off the table and runs around the room, so the sleeper 'has' to get up to get the darn thing .. ......Great idea - I dont need it but some will ..

Re: Robotic Alarm Clock

That clock sounds like my missus having a nightmare, unless it's made of rubber I can't see it lasting very long, especially in a household of hangover sufferers.
Seriously Pats, I can usually wake up at the time I want to and never use an alarm clock, the wife is a very heavy sleeper and depends on me to give her a shout in the mornings, might get her one, no on second thoughts it would drive me mad.

I usually wake before the clock, but I do use one as a fail safe.

Re: Robotic Alarm Clock

Are you kiddin'? I got her a new kettle for christmas a few years ago(and something else naturally) and the slagging I got on here was unmerciful, but I enjoyed it all the same. She had just got her kitchen done and she was behaving like Picasso, she was in her 'Mauve' period, she goes through all these colour phases, and we had a mauve tea caddy, bread bin, toaster, and the devil knows what, I asked her what she'd like for christmas and she said a new electric kettle, you have three guesses as to the colour.

No, I got her a green one for spite.
No I had toyed with the idea but the resulting consequence's wouldn't be worth the look of shock on her face, I chickened out and got her a mauve one Pats.

Re: Robotic Alarm Clock

Maybe, it was the wrong 'shade' of Mauve - had you thought of that ....
EDIT - sorry Jem, thought it was your wife that was not happy with the kettle ..... all clear to me now ...

Re: Robotic Alarm Clock

A kettle for Christmas Jimmy, I'm glad you added - and something else, naturally - A chattel for your chattel eh? It's a wonder you weren't wearing it by lunch time.

I don't use an alarm clock either, I'm retired!!
Hubby is my alarm clock, he has always been up first.
