Happy Friday Everyone.

On the island Monte Isola , the picture I posted yesterday, there is a cat rescue sanctuary. I took this picture of these two beautiful cats there. Longest day of the year today - and our daughter's fiancée's birthday. We've been invited round to their place for a meal this evening.

Today, my lovely step-daughter and I are going hunting for a small table and chairs. I'm in the process of creating a dining room from one which isn't used now, so my (very) questionable DIY skills will be put to the test !!

Dank and miserable here at the moment - at least I won't have to water the plants .........

Off the the 'vampire' clinic again this morning. The good news is that I won't be that far away from the pie shop, so can get a couple of delightful Pork & Apple pies for my lunch!!!

Heavy overcast today after an absolute deluge of rain yesterday afternoon and overnight and yes Gwyn, I'll probably never need to water the garden ever again...

A few odd jobs around the house for me this morning methinks, but it's our pilgrimage to Tesco first, dogs to be walked after coffee and friends are visiting this afternoon, so a lot to fit in...

Rain???? - what rain??? - Didn't get none of that down this way Barry - although we did have a lot of mist and murkiness most of the day - we got some late afternoon sun and a beautiful, warm dry evening. Today the mist is back with a vengeance - very foggy outside here this morning.

Sounds like i'm lucky it is bright and sunny here at present, but looking a bit breezy.

Need a trip to the post office and better get some ironing done. Washing machine currently working away again.

Good morning folks we have sunny intervals but it is very humid here. All my windows are open in an attempt to attract the slightest breeze

Plenty of jobs planned for today once the shopping trip is out of the way. I also need to furminate Cassie Cat as her coat is so thick now....

Morning all, dull and muggy here.
Waiting for shopping and then going to cut my hair.
Heavy rain yesterday, got soaked taking a photo of an enormous stag beetle it was half hidden under leaves that hubby was clearing out of the drain. I should have taken a brolly out to cover us both ...
