Wish I knew! Those little jumping characters are good too, and the welcome things but I don't understand instructions!

Hi Judith make sure you are using the orange Reply option at the bottom left of a post to which you are replying like this...


rather than the 'Quick reply' box underneath the post and you will have the choice of lots of 'Smilies'

Judith darlin' - instead of using 'instant' reply, go to the 'normal' reply button and the smilies will appear. If the one smilie you want is not located in the particular displayed window, you will notice, underneath it says 'more' if you click on that it will open up yet another window with a whole lot more 'smilie' options.

Nobody told me this site was addictive either Judith and it's too late now. I spend far too much time just looking around on here when I should be doing something else. In the evening I sit with my laptop on my knee, the dog round my feet and the television running in the background. So cosy.
