Three things I want to do before I die....

Hi, there are three things I would love to have the courage to do before I die.....

1. Walk over to my nephew who stands outside with his mates on the deck having a smoke on Saturday nights before he heads off to town and ask him if I can have a drag of the "funny smelling rolled cigarette" he always seems to smoke even though he has Benson and Hedges in his jacket pocket and who laughingly believes I am too old, too naive and too thick to know what he is actually smoking.

2. I would like to meet every single person throughout my life who has made me smile, grin, chuckle or laugh and give them a big hug for doing so

3. I would like to get off my death-bed, stark b.......k naked, open my front door, run down the centre of the street, wrinkles, flab, wobbly bits and all. shock all the behind the net curtains brigade and shout out at the top of my voice...THIS IS HOW I CAME IN, THIS IS HOW I AM GOING OUT, get over it !!"

Hi Mary I am not sure I have got the energy to do anything much before I die. I have already done my share of things including the naughty bits
Sometimes I feel I have had two or three lifetimes in one...

OK would love to see my niece married and given away by her Dad, (Uncle really/my husband).

Stand on the scales and see my ideal weight looking back at me.

Be brave enough to get behind the wheel and drive on the motorway, although that may take some braveness from the other drivers around me too

Hmmmmmmm

1. Take my own motor cruiser down (English) Channel, cross Bay of Biscay, pass through Straits of Gibraltar and cruise Mediterranean. Pass through Suez, down the Red Sea and out into Indian Ocean to the Seychelles.

2. Spend a lot more time seeing the treasures of the Hermitage museum in St: Petersburg.

3. Start the Revolution, see the abolition of the monarchy and its replacement with a directly elected President. See the election of a (truly) Socialist Government.

My three things would be to
go back for a long holiday in Barbados which I loved on my 60th birthday.
See my Grandkids get married
Hope I have the strength to see through the deaths of all my poor ill
family and friends who seem to be dying around me and I seem to be the healthiest.

I want to sit in a hot tub somewhere north of the Arctic Circle with my lovely wife, sipping an ice-cold dry white wine, watching the Northern Lights illuminate the sky.

It's funny how many of us would like to see the Nothern Lights, did anyone see Joanna Lumley on the programme when she went to see them.

I have seen an echo of them one winters night right down here in Worcestershire. Amazing
