Magazine article on middle age

Hello there,
I'm the features editor of a magazine [link removed]and we are looking for someone to contribute to a feature about middle age and how it's now seen as a time to strive for new goals and experiences.
I'm looking for a case study who has undergone a type of mid life crisis in their late 40s or 50s and used it as a springboard to start afresh - maybe you went travelling around the world or quit your job and embarked upon a new career, opened a B&B or simply followed your dreams...
