How would you like to build this?

.
How would you like to build this?

Wow! The thought and craftsmanship that went into the building of this masterpiece.

And to think the guy who made this over two hundred years ago did it with hand tools alone.

What an amazing desk!

I wonder how much it would cost to make a piece of furniture like that these days.....

Staggering when you think that not just skill with wood was required but all that mechanical stuff had to be made as well. Some head on the guy (s) who made that.

Thanks for showing that Michael,it never ceases to amaze me that this art form is now lost!
These artisan/craftsmen were brilliant, its a lost art now,but back then people were satisfied filling in their days constructively instead of sitting at a PC playing games and wishing,i love old pocket watches, the guys who made them just blow my mind, telescope makers too!
I takes me hat off to em all!

Regards Billy
