Edinburgh castle

The three photos were taken from Corstorphine hill in Edinburgh which is probably 4 to 5 miles as the crow flies. I used my 200mm lens.

The castle.

The skyline.

Calton Hill.

Re: Edinburgh castle

Hi Jim, nice photos. I see that you have walked the "West Highland Way". I did that 29 years ago when I was 50 years old. It was very enjoyable then but I couldn't do it now.

Re: Edinburgh castle

Alan, when I walked the WHW I was 70 years young and a very good friend has asked me to go with him next year, and foolishly I have said yes, hopefully I will be able to post some photos on here afterwards.

Re: Edinburgh castle

I am doing B&B and Hostels next time, I roughed it a bit the first time in wigwams and hobbits but as I'm getting a bit older I want my comfort.
