That I may have to shake the dust off my summer frocks

I've even made a pesto dressing for a ham and egg salad (wonder if I've got a touch of sunstroke ...)

What changes to your daily life tell you that summer is nearly here (and when it has arrived)?

Well, the rain is getting a bit warmer and I hear that the skiing is not so good in the Cairngorms.

I've got my pretty summer dress all ready, but it doesn't look right with my balding head and scruffy beard. Best stick to wellies and a duffle coat!

Karen I have put the heating on and have donned a woollen jumper as the rain pours down and the temperature plummets

In a normal year I would look for the first jersey royals , tasty Elegance tomatoes, spring lamb and planting out the runner beans to let me know summer is nearly here

Summer frock? I'm still waiting for spring!

The same as everyone we thought summer was on the way. I had put most of my thick jumpers away, got my sandles out, had to re think this week it has not stopped raining and i too had to put the heating on last night is was so cold.
I was enjoying sitting out in the garden first thing in a morning before the world woke up with a cup of tea taking in the peace and quiet.
