High Chapperral
starring Big Leif Ericson, Linda Crystal, Cameron Mitchell and Henry Darrow.
It was only on a few years but I did like it as they had alot of
mixed stories focusing on one or two of the many stars.

Re: puzzler for you all

YES it was the High Chapparal. I remember watching it week after week - I seem to recall it was televised on a Sunday afternoon and yes Julie1962, Manilito was my first ever crush and yes he still makes my heart flutter when I see him in that picture - mind you he did spend a suspiciously amount of time alone in the desert with his horse! I was easily pleased in those days as I also loved Bluey - John Snr's son. It was ahead of its time really in that rather unconventional household!

I remember poor beautiful Victoria too - she used to glide around the house in her long skirt with trays of food and jugs of stuff to feed and water the men but never seemed to eat or drink anything herself.

I might try and seek out an old copy online to watch.

Oh yes, Manilito, I had a crush on him too.

I think I watched every episode of Bonanza, High Chapperall and the The Big Valley.

Used to love all the Westerns - Laramie, Wagon Train etc.

Wonder why we don't see Westerns any more?
