My daughter's poem to her ex-boyfriend

One of my girls recently had an amicable separation from her boyfriend, and they still get along quite well.

She posted this on Facebook this morning:

We moved apart
And knew soon enough
It was time to move on
So we split up our stuff.
The electronics were yours
So I'm fine with all that,
But you took all the band-aids... and left me the cat.



He replied with a laugh and promised to drop by with a new box full.

(The pale star on her wrist and black lines coming around are tattoos.)

Just to be clear, the cat is good-natured but still young and playful. Val was no doubt giving him tummy rubs and encouraging a bit of rough and tumble. Yes, I'm glad they are getting along. Her ex promised to drop by with a box of Hello Kitty bandages.
