No - I've always thought it a bit creepy to have dead animals on display in your own home, like those deer heads on walls. There is a woman, who lives on the Island, who has every pet she's ever had stuffed and she displays them in her front room patio windows; dogs looking out, cats watching what's going on. She keeps them well brushed though. For me, it would hurt too much to see any of my dogs looking as though they should move about but knowing they won't ever again.

No when they die, I like to try and remember them alive seeing them like that would be a constant reminder they are dead.

It's just a body I always think we bring the soul home with us in their memories and how we feel about them.

I wouldn't need a reminder.

I hate stuffed animals, we had them in show cases around the walls at my prep school.

Dont understand the mentality of those that want stuffed animals in their home - unless they're toys of course - its 'revolting' - not nice and, disrespectful to the animal...Would any of you like to be stuffed !!

Never. I think it's morbid. Surely a photo of them when they were alive should be enough.

I wouldn't like to have any of my dogs who passed on made up like that, too creepy to have about the house, memories are far better, it reminds me of Norman Bates in Psycho.
