Duties.

Do you have a routine about household duties or do you do them at random?
I am a pretty routine and orderly kind of person. Now I am off to clean the bathrooms, which I do daily as part of my routine. See you later.

Re: Duties.

I clean the parrots cages every morning, on Sunay's I give them a shower! Yes, I am pretty organised to a certain extent!

Re: Duties.

I like to have a routine too which is partly dictated by Chloe who likes her walks at the same time each day .

Re: Duties.

I suppose I have a certain amount of routine for things which must be done regularly, but I don't like to be pinned down to doing certain things on certain days. I hate all housework really, but it has to be done which, for me, means getting it out of the way as quickly and easily as possible - if it doesn't look like it needs doing very often I leave it until another time. Nobody seems to notice anyway -and it looks just as bad the next day whether it is done or not.

Re: Duties.

I sort of have a regular day for things but I can change it if I see something needs doing sooner, more structured with the dogs as they have meal times/walk times etc as they seem to prefer that to the rather haphazard way I approach most days LOL

Re: Duties.

I have my daily routines, which I like to stick to day in day out, even on Christmas Day. Part of the reason I dislike holidays is because I am out of normal routine.

Re: Duties.

I get up when it gets light which changes with the year, so my routine starts at day light rather than time but I do follow a routine. Get up (if before light I make a coffee and take it back to bed) take dogs for a quick hours walk, back for breakfast wash clean teeth etc. Then I clean the house and if winter set the fire. Then depending on the weather I go walking or gardening returning home late afternoon have a swim then a beer on the terrace (winter watch telly have a beer on the sofa) make my evening meal and just potter tidying up as I go.
