Shopping scams

It gets my back up when I want to buy one of an item and it comes in a two blister pack. e.g. batteries, you have to buy two batteries and when you come to use the second it has gone flat, which makes awful expensive batteries.
What is your shopping scam you can recall.

Batteries gone flat? That has never happened to me. Besides which most of the time one requires more than one battery anyway.

Oh dear...
Well Arfa - we have to use a calculator when we shop 'cos the price on the ticket will not always match the actual cost ! So, when we pay, it 'should' come to the total we have.... otherwise.....

Having to buy an oversized and overpriced bag of sweets when you go to the cinema and not being allowed to bring your own in.

We always take our own. How do they know you have them?

Me too - I'd never pay what they charge at the pictures, it's scandalous. I even take drinks in as well

Re: Shopping scams

When Woolworths was closing down they were selling two plants for the price of one. The plants were in cardboard containers and when I got home one was empty apart from a bit of compost I couldn't take it back because the shop had gone.

Didn't you check what you were buying first?
