So what did you think of it.


What makes it interesting is its set in London just after the war and you can see all the bomb damage which lasted to a lesser extent till the late fifties.

Fantastic film!! I love the old, British films as much as for their historical merit as their artistic. We watched one of our old Ealing films the other day, and it wasn't a comedy; It Always Rains on Sundays. Absolutely brilliant!!

Apart from this, I totally adore Dirk Bogarde (did my thesis on him back in the mid 80s - and entered into some correspondence with him at his South of France home in order to do so), which was just amazing!
