More Snow

Anybody else got it bad at the moment? It started snowing here in earnest at around 3.30 this afternoon and it hasn't stopped. It's 5" deep on the roof of my car at the moment, and it's still coming down in huge flakes.

I honestly don't think this was expected. We had snow Thursday last which settled but hadn't thawed out up here, although lower ground was clear, and the ice on the roads had all but thawed out when it's started again, but this time it means it.

Driving in it is going to be something of a challenge.

It's all gone here and had better not return as the car valeter is coming tomorrow morning to do the cars.

We had a little flurry as I was heading to bed last night, but during the night the temperature rose, the snow turned to rain and has washed all the ice that still covered the gardens, and shed rooves away too. We now have bright blue skies and this time no frost either. Is this the beginning of Spring???

I couldn't believe how much we had overnight when I went for my first walk of the day, a little while ago. Still the sun is shining now, the temperature is above freezing, and then we will be moaning about the water all over the place soon!

No more snow here but what is lying on the ground has turned to ice! It rained for a wee while during the night!

It started snowing last night and we'd about 3" this morning beautifull sunny day, now it's sheeting down and though it's 7c it feels colder to me.
