I got mugged this morning..
by an orange
We have very strong gale force winds today and there I was minding my own business walking down the main street of our little local town when suddenly I was almost knocked dizzy by a bang on the head as an orange dropped off the tree I was walking under. This is the second time I've been mugged by a fruit, I got mugged by a mango a few years ago in Africa, and that hurt, mangos are big and when they drop off a very big tree and land on your head, not funny

I did laugh at your post clumsy as I rememaber my husband having a near death experience with a coconut. we were sitting on a beach in St Lucia when thanks be to God hubs had a call of nature. As soon as he got up and moved away a coconut landed in his chair. We moved from the shade of the trees very quickly but later asked if the hotel had any hard hats.

Everyone around found it funny too Willow, including me once the shock wore off. Your husband was lucky Cookiecate, coconuts can be killers. Mostly hotels have staff who shin up the trees to remove the coconuts, it doesn't do their reputation much good having guests killed off by coconuts.
