The Galapagos Islands

Has any member visited the Galapagos Islands.?

We are considering a trip there and any tips would be welcome.

Lots of info on the web but first hand knowledge is always helpful.

David Attenborough is currently discussing the islands on TV.

Re: The Galapagos Islands

I have friends who visited the Galapagos Islands a couple of years ago. They were on a Jules Verne cruise. They didn't actually get many photographs, evidently the creatures were not too obliging during their visit. I believe also that you cannot just wander around where you wish, there are many restrictions regarding the wildlife and their habitats., which of course is at it should be.
