Re: Happy Tuesday Folk

Good morning Alan and all who venture here.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fqqxJE-MqFo

Cold - 3 degrees, dry and a slight breeze blowing down from the Trossacs. Mother Natures creatures are hungry for food and devouring it as fast as they can find it so I guess the freezing temperatures are going to last through the day.

Plans for today are to visit an old friend who was taken to hospital on Saturday, lunch at some Local establishment then the afternoon will be spent in meditation and exercise.

How do Owls do it?

Jim the photo is a reflection of Buttermere Lake and the hills around it.

Happy (80th) Birthday Sheila I hope it is a Good one.

Have a great day everyone and remember

Morning all. Happy birthday to Sheila. How old are you then Alan?
Still quite a bit of snow here, but the sun has just come out, so hopefully it will vanish soon.

Re: Happy Tuesday Folk

Good morning everyone, cold here too at -2 deg and with around 4" of lying snow.

I need to get some more firewood soon, as some that was promised never arrived, so I'm off to a nearby village where they are demolishing some old pit houses to see if there are any rafters going begging...

Mrs P is baking today so I'm barred from the kitchen as I tend to test taste everything even before it is cooked..... well, you can't be too careful can you...

Best wishes to Sheila Alan, I hope you all enjoy the party..

Have a great day folks

Hi Susie, I'm 79 & 1/3 and it's a standing joke that I'm Sheila's toy boy.

Re: Happy Tuesday Folk

Good morning everyone.
It is 0°C here, yesterdays snow melted but we've had a little overnight and it is just a sprinkling on the lawn now. We are not going anywhere, so it matters not
The birds are eating us out of house and home..hubby says he is going to top up the feeders again today (I'll make him wait until the lawn is free of snow-don't want him slipping over)
Happy birthday Sheila.

Morning everyone. Yes, the birds sure do get through the seed and fat balls..... We make our own fat/seed filled coconut halves, saves a lot of money!

Re: Happy Tuesday Folk

Good morning all, Sunny and showery in Dublin today but thankfully no snow yet. Wish Sheila an official 80th from me too Alan, I'm a year younger than my missus, I'm always telling her she took advantage of my youth.
I'll be off to the local at lunch time today, haven't been there for a bit, they'll probably think I'm dead, that's a down side of being old, go missing and everyone thinks the worst.
Enjoy the day folks.

Grass on the rocks please.
