Happy Saturday Folk.

[/IMG] Autumn colours- taken at a local country park. We went to do our weekly shop yesterday lunchtime and I was expecting it to be quiet. How wrong I was, the place was mobbed !

Good morning Alan, What a beautiful picture. I have not long been back from walking the dog and it is quite a nice morning out there despite the wind which has nicely dried up the paths and greens. Have a good day.

Morning everyone, just back from the woods with the dogs and now enjoying a well earned cappucino. We thought we would go first thing as heavy rain was forecast and... yes, I can just hear it starting to beat on the window. Don't you just love it when a plan comes together.....

Have a great day folks,

Barry

Re: Happy Saturday Folk.

Good morning everyone. Sounds like you have to have very tall wellies for that kind of snow Marcus.
Well guess what, its raining here in Blighty. Yet again. I bet the most used 4 letter word this year is RAIN. plus the other bits that go with it.
We did on another post mention gifts at Christmas for work men. I have just given my dustbin men who collect the rubbish a bag of cans of lager and a box of chocs. Makes you feel your bin will be emptied no matter what.
Have a great day everyone no matter what the weather is like.

Re: Happy Saturday Folk.

A beautiful sunny day here but I'm sort of confined to the house due to one of those bugs that give you nasty stomach cramps and mean you don't travel far from a bathroom ! Muffin has a vet appointment today to be checked, weighed and given his last two Trocoxil tablets so Mr Clumsy has just set off to take him, madam ChoCho is NOT happy that she has been left behind with me, she is sitting at the door whinging, she won't be happy until they are back.

I had intended going down to the new shopping centre today to buy the lovely red Christmas tree I saw before Christmas, it has been reduced to half price, but hopefully they will still have it on Monday, I can but hope.

Have a nice day all and stay warm or dry, depending whether you have rain or snow.

A red Christmas tree, that's most unusual. Hope you manage to buy it and also that you are feeling better by then too.

Re: Happy Saturday Folk.

Good morning fellow members when I awoke I had to think hard what day it was and decided it was Monday , some time later when putting the radio on I realised it was Saturday

It was so dark this morning with the rain and wind lashing the windows it was very tempting not to get up at all However there is cooking to do for tomorrow so get up I must.

Have a pleasant day everyone wherever you are...

Thank you Moyra. I think I'm already feeling better, just not too sure about going far from a bathroom
I think I will give it a couple of hours and if I feel safe I will go down and buy the tree. Not much use for this year but I would like to think I have it ready for next year. It is similar to this one:

Good morning all, I just popped in to say hello as I'm waiting to be picked up to go to Leopardstown Races, he's late already and the first race has started, I hate waiting, see you later and take care.
