Good Morning Sunday

Good morning everyone, cool wet and windy here at the moment but hopefully will brighten later..

Just a few odd jobs for me this morning including collecting some spare wood from a neighbour and chopping it up for our wood burner. Tuna mayo with jacket spuds for lunch, a walk with the dogs and then a film on the tele will just about sort me out until tea time...

Good morning everybody....nice start to the day, lets hope it stays that way after yesterday's dull and wet day

Nothing too exciting planned for the day. Off dog walking shortly then have to wrap some little pressies I'm giving out at a coffee morning I've arranged for tomorrow. Have got some work to do early evening but should be home in time for Strictly

Loki in the snow!

Morning All Was very windy until about 10 mins ago, now it has stopped! Looks like it may be a nice day today.

Good morning folks.

Got up at 9AM and am just gaining consciousness now after a good few aspirin and a few dozen cups of strong black coffee.

I'm never drinking again...

Really windy this morning, starting to die down but it'll come back.

Anyway, got to get my glad rags on for Church at 11AM, the wife is already "making herself look beautiful" as she said, I replied "but I wanted to get to Church THIS Sunday!!".

I'm just waiting to hear the sound of my favourite mug being "dropped"

Right, really must get ready and splash on some Old Spice then venture out to this cold rainy morning and fire up the old diesel to let her warm up before we leave.

We're going to pick up my 90 year old Mother-in-law on the way as she recently had a black out and the doctors have told her not to drive until she's has another check up to make sure it isn't something that will re-occur.

I do hope she doesn't lose her license as her car is the only freedom she has these days since she can't walk very far with her hip and legs being as deteriorated as they are, even with her walking stick it's a struggle to even move around the house.

Yes I know she could get a mobility scooter but if you'd met Jenny, you'd know she'd sooner be seen in a Hearse before one of those.

Good morning all. I feel a big guilty now having read your weather reports, but it really is a beautiful day here, very sunny, not a breath of wind, more like summer than winter. We thought about going to one of the big Sunday markets but decided to put it off until next week as it's a "bank holiday" here this weekend, which means people from all over the country come to the coast and the roads get more than a little busy, plus we didn't get up very early and I can't be bothered to "hurry myself up". So a pottering around day it will be. Lovely photos all. This is one I took a couple of years ago.

Good Sunday morning everyone. Alan is away for the weekend back tomorrow. Wow that horse should be put in for the Olympic High Jump. Great photo. Hope everyone is enjoying their day. Nothing special planned for today, I need to finishing writing my cards and start wrapping some presents. It's surprising how quickly the big day creeps up on you now.
