Happy Thursdasy Folk.

Taken on Monday and showing the car park at one of our local country parks. It's like that pop group around here - Wet,wet, wet. Yesterday we went a walk in a different park and the river Nene had overflowed and the adjacent fields were flooded. "Drought, what drought ?"

Re: Happy Thursdasy Folk.

Good morning Alan and all who visit here

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pU-QE...eature=related

Dry at the moment, darn cold with a wind and heavy rain clouds overhead. Mother Natures creatures are few and far between but the ones that have arose are desperately looking for food which tells me some inclement weather is on the way.

A quick visit to the shops then the rest of the day will be spent doing whatever takes our fancy. In other words nowt planned yet.

Sorry folks, Photobucket is on the blink again

Alan we have lived like that pop group for most of the year.
Great urban picture.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning everyone, milder here today but quite windy.

My Nissan has had a recall so I'm taking it in this morning for them to fit a bracket of some type in the engine bay, but I'm told it's a quick "while you wait" job and so I should be back for in time for coffee hopefully...

More leaf sweeping later methinks and chop suey for lunch..

Have a great day folks..

Good morning friends.
Started off grey but the sun is trying to shine and 9C, so not too bad.
Bird feeders are topped up and very busy.
Got a line of washing out and another load doing...time for coffee methinks.
Have a great day all.

Re: Happy Thursdasy Folk.

Good morning everyone.
Reminds me of the WWW song first few lines Alan,
I feel it in my fingers, I feel it in my toes.
They didnt say it was water they were singing about
Hope everyone is having a great day. My sister has just
come back from Spain and the weather was wet most of
the week there.
Going to go a long walk today to keep my hips moving. Sitting
at the PC for hours doesnt do your bottom any good laugh.
I am the same about my coffee Plantman. I only drink one a
day about 11am as I am a tea drinker. I do enjoy my coffee
drink and get annoyed if some thing happens that I cant drink
it on time. Must be the caffine rush or something.
Take care everyone and have a nice day whatever the weather.
Have a nice day

Finlaystone Country Park

Good Morning All Sunny and cold, damp underfoot. Still, it is lovely out!

Lovely photo, Alan.

Hope Bob that you and your wife are loads better now.

Love the links, Bob. Photobucket is doing too much to their site! I upload photos from my photo folder, wait ages on them being uploaded to Photobucket and then error messages appear and I've to start all over again

Enjoy a good day everyone.

Take care and stay safe

Good morning all, sunny on and off today and no rain as yet. I have the shed warming up as I've got a few things to do out there, I'll have to skip the local today, maybe this evening when the works is done I'll nip up for a pint.
Take care Folks.

He's a nice scene showing the pretty side of Winter.

Re: Happy Thursdasy Folk.

Good morning all nice and sunny now after a damp start to the day.

The washing is out on the line but there doesn't appear to be much movement in the air to help dry it.

Some lovely pictures again which add a touch of brightness to the day .... thanks!

Enjoy your day!

Re: Happy Thursdasy Folk.

Good morning fellow members my you are a busy lot I am having trouble keeping up ...

Well that's the weekly shop done and put away and I popped to Argos and changed my faulty kettle for a new one, all done with no quibbles.

Now there is the ironing to tackle before I go baby sitting this evening so the children can go to a ball. feel like the fairy godmother . I am only doing part of the evening though having done my fair share of babysitting already this week and there is more to come tomorrow.

Right I am off to try the new kettle with a cup of coffee and hope it doesn't blow up .

Enjoy your day everyone
