and thought it was great news ..

Good for him! I had a cold caller once and when I asked the caller who they were and where they were from, he told me off for being rude. Then he told me to go away. Cheeky so and so. It should have been me telling him off for disturbing my time. I didn't ask him to call me

Wish there was a law, keep them away from me as well, they are all. Ice to you say no to them, and then they are really rude. Not everyone is like that but the ones I have had call here are not very nice.

I hate cold callers and whenever I get one at the door I just stare at them and say "WHO ARE YOU!? YOU'VE COME TO GET ME!!!! THEY'RE AFTER ME AGAIN!!!" and slam the door.

Usually works.
