WOW It was a great evening.

We had a lovely evening yesterday at out local Lions Club.
They had put on a three course meal for around 80 pensioners plus free transport and a good time was had by all.
It was great going round and having a laugh with old friends and with a bit of luck I hope to be around for the next gathering.
I was amazed though because I had donated 10 of the books that I had written concerning WW2 and the lot sold
within half an hour with folks asking me if I had any at home. These were the two I donated to the Lions.

I had to tell them that they would have to contact the chappie who printed them for me but he would be willing to post them on to whoever wanted one.
