I didn't think much to the fifty year rememberance programmes about 50 years since first beatles single,after all how many of todays musicians will still be talked about50 years from now
Welcome to the forum shep. Regarding the Beatles, I really didn't like them that much at the time, and although I concede that later on they turned out some classics, some of their earlier stuff hasn't improved with the years...

Beethoven's gone, but his music lives on
And Mozart don't go shopping no more
You'll never meet Liszt or Brahms again
And Elgar doesn't answer the door
Mind you I still have all the Beatles' records (and a boxed set of CDs)
