Watch out, there's a scam about.

I've just received a recorded message phone call telling me that I am entitled to a £1,000 pension bonus and to press no 5 to hear more. I imagine that if I had been daft enough to press no 5 I would have been paying them a lot of money to hear their nonsense - be alert !

Alan this scam was out earlier in the year mainly around Stafford, I think.

No-One will phone you to tell you about pension bonuses or your pension entitlements so just hang up.

We have always to keep scams in the front of our minds though.

I've just received a letter on a similar line This however is genuine.
They will not phone, always write.

Tut, some people have a nerve, they tried it through E mail too, we have to be so very carefull
