Meet Usef
One of many parrots I often look after, he has a very large vocabulary which doesnt include any swear words, he is very entertaining and I often find myself answering him as if we were really having a conversation
on the last day of my last visit he told me to shut up
I had to appologise to the owner as I think he got that from me
Could have been sooo much worse though

I find them fascinating, they are all clever if you put the time and interaction into them. Usef can coount to 10 but does sometimes miss a few numbers in his excitement to tell him self he is a clever boy. If you put your coat on ifront of him he will say "bye bye, be good now". I must try and record him the next time I am there. The macaws talk aswell but they are not as clear as the greys and baby Toots is begining to talk now too.I have also looked after two amazons who sang ba ba black sheep in an aberdeen accent
