Easy Maths Poser!

It's said that only folk's with an IQ topping 125 can figure this one out, ok?...(it's an easy lateral thought exercise!).

If:

2 + 3 = 10
7 + 2 = 63
6 + 5 = 66
8 + 4 = 96

then:

9 + 7 = ?.

as you said, it is easy 144

2+3= 10(5(2+3)*2)

7+2=63(9(7+2)*7).......

9+7=144(16(9+7)*9)
