Gorgeous photos. We get Tons & Tons of Goldfinches here. Its only a small back yard but we put Sunflower Hearts out & they line up on the fence to take turns on the three feeders or make a carpet of birds on the floor eating the seed that has dropped. They are very skittish though so as soon as you look at them through the window they are off. So I can never get a decent photo of them
I see they are feeding on Sunflower Hearts in your photo braveheart. They love them. We have to buy 25kg bags at a time

Fabulous photos, just love the Gold Finch, we also have loads of them feeding, I feed Sunflower Hearts, it saves a lot of mess. I have different feeds for different birds, I have ground feeders, hanging feeders, table feeders, plus a box on a tree for the squirrels, we have learned over the years if they have there own supply they tend to leave the bird feeders alone.
