You can read all the cold statistics about success rates, etc,. but it does make a difference, I think, to hear from real people who've experienced it or whose friends have, so know whereof they speak.

Thanks all. And just a quick update to say he had an Angiogram done on Monday and the doc said his arteries are a little more blocked than last time - so he's agreed to have it done. That's good, but all the worry now of such a big op! Hope it will all go well tho.

I'm glad he's agreed, Azz. It is a big scary op, but very safe and he should be so very much better afterwards. When is it scheduled? Do keep us posted; will be thinking of you both.

He's on the waiting list now - so I guess it could be any time within the next 3 months. Think he's had most of the prep done, so it could be sooner rather than later. Will keep you posted tho

don,t just sit and wait for them,to get in touch with you.
When i was waiting we phoned every two weeks to see where we were on the list and i finished up going into the priory in egbaston,silver service like a five star hotel puts you mind at ease..all the best dereklcg.:-d
