Re: Would you speak out?

I did t have much leisure time .
I got up very early every morning and did a paper round
I was at school most of the day it was a long tedious journey back and forth.
Saturday I worked in a shop .
Sunday I didn't go around wrecking public or private property nor did anyone I knew.

Well that rather proves my point then doesn't it. Keep them busy they won't have time to misbehave. Personally I had loads of time just walking to a from school, was a long walk both ways and with friends daring each other we got up to all sorts.

Re: Would you speak out?

It has all kicked off on our town Facebook group now that someone has posted pictures of the six wrecked trollies, but unfortunately none of the perpetrators. Lidl's have also been contacted by a member of the Fb group, and the wreckage has been cleared. So perhaps action will be taken regarding locking mechanisms on the trollies. After all, they cost over £100 each, so guess who will pay for the £600 loss on Saturday - us the customers.

I agree but, as has been said, the police don't seem to want to do anything.

I suspect that this is due to one of two reasons:

- they are undermanned and cannot spare anyone;

- they have been told by their superiors not to interfere in certain areas.

I had plenty of leisure time, but also I had parents who strictly forbade me from doing things like that.
