Thank you for the explanation Jonsey. This poor little woman needs a helping hand to understand complicated concepts, especially when the pitch is muddied up with off-side stereotypes. - I still don't understand the bits about roads, plums, education and immigrants in relation to football though, but I'll accept my limitations as a female and just live with that.
As for us women, I suspect you would not be so brave and reckless when face to face with a "proper" woman (with or without knitting needles)
