Re: Are you a hat person?

I'm not a hat wearer, although I have in the past worn a woolly type of cap when it's been really cold, but not any more.

I wore a sun-hat in Greece when it was around 90 degrees, but it made my head even hotter so I took it off. I ended up with sunstroke and you're right, that really isn't at all funny.

I wear a woolly hat in winter at work. I wear a canvas hat while fly fishing and a baseball cap in the sun.

Actually, come to think about it, the last time I wore a hat was on my honeymoon in Florida. It was a top hat with mickey-mouse ears (wife had a Mickey-eared bridal veil). It was fun at the time.

Wouldn't do it now.

Sure. It was taken seven years ago in Disneyworld. (My wife asked me to blur bits of the image before posting)

That's a great photo of you and your wife, Graham ..... dare I say they suit you both!

We are going to Florida next year so I think I'll look out for some Mickey/Minnie ears while we are there

Graham matey, I promise you, as you age and your hair thins or falls out, you will need a hat to either keep your head warm in the winter or protect it from getting sun burnt in the summer.

Re: Are you a hat person?

I usually wear a hat for a reason, to keep the grey stuff warm in winter; to keep my hair clean if I'm rubbing down paintwork; sun hat to prevent sunstroke; and when gardening to save my hair from getting tangled up in shrubbery, brambles etc. Don't like wearing a hat when I am driving.
