Re: Act your Age

Heavens above !
I hate acting my age .
And I hate idiots who think they can talk down to older people because they should act their age !
My sons are good they take no prisoners they say Mum don’t play the little old lady !

People don't come with instruction manuals - so I am not sure!

I can't see it, but it sounds like its that type.

Yes they look great fun, but I know if I were to get one and go out on it.... My one daughter wouldn't speak to me, from embarrassment....you know what I mean.

But why should someone over fifty riding one, be look at differently to a twenty year old riding one.

I know we don't... But I remember my younger days, especially with sport, seeing older guys in the gym with their skipping ropes and exercises... me and other young guys would kind of laugh, taking the mick.... behind their backs.

Or seeing some old guy sat in sports cars with the roof down.. Look at him..

Maybe my thoughts in my youth kind of set a precedent on how older people should act/behave
