Having worked at a bench all me life I know the feeling too well, can’t stand people behind me when I’m working, just as well I’m not an orchestra conductor.
I think this is one of the ‘hidden’ senses we all have and will never be able to figure out scientifically, but it is very real as most folks will tell you.
