Getting back on track after that laugh.

I too don't think the Beatles will ever be beaten for popularity although my husband does not like them. My favourite of theirs is Yesterday.

We listen to all types of music even the up to date stuff from the likes of Rita Ora, Tinie Tempah, Rihanna, Adele.

I don't think we are the age group that they are aiming for but when listening to music I throw in the old with the new.

I think that "beatlemania" is still happening - just look at the amazing and rapid rise of "One Direction" (I'm talking popularity here, not quality). In terms of global popularity, One Direction probably has a wider and bigger fanbase than even the Beatles. In fact it is easier to manufacture such "mania" nowadays due to the massive expansion in media and the speed at which information can be shared.
