Jem's comment on pigs has brought to my mind an apocryphal sequence of events which happened on the shores of Lake Victoria in deepest and darkest Africa, some while ago.
An untypical example of anthropomorphic behaviour saw Hilary (the hippo) casually remarking to Hermionne (the hippo) that "I keep thinking it's TUESDAY"
