I can sleep for 9 hours if I'm tired.
Even as a kid I needed my sleep.

Yes Meg i'd agree with that.
I'm fine with anything between 8 and 6 1/2 hours but any less and I'm like a zombie...

Well here I am at 430 in the morning my time still unable to sleep . I am lucky if I manage 4/5 hours in a night .

I've never been a big sleeper (unlike my kids who would sleep 24/7 unless someone woke them up) and usually get 5/6 hours each night. What has changed for me as I get older is that I can't do without that sleep any more. As a young man I often went three days and nights without sleep, but now I really need my 5 or 6 hours.

How can you tell when an insomniac is telling fibs? They say OK I am off to sleep now. I take rather more zopiclone than I should.
