[QUOTE=Ms Pevensey;219601]I drive an Astra twin top.. bit heavy on the juice at todays prices ![/QUOTE

Hi Ms Pevensey, the wife had an 05 Astra Convertible, there is no substitute for a rag top, even if it still looks like a brick on wheels.

I know what you are saying, it is hard to equate style with function, it is just my opinion, but the only mainstream successful hardtop/convertible is the VW Eos.

I drive a red Toyota Prius. *Sigh!* The red doesn't make it drive any faster...!

Re: What are you driving?

I bought my Fiat Brava in 2003 when she was 18 months old so it's a 51 registration. It's just coming up to 32,000 on the clock so very low mileage and tonight I put £20 worth of petrol in her. Last time I did that was on 1 October so I'm not complaining.

2011 Mercedes ML350 Diesel, but sadly I can't drive it because I lost my license. At least it will be the lowest mileage ML350 when I can drive it again.

Re: What are you driving?

I've alway's been a 4x4 man...(beginning with a Suzuki, then changing up to a Land-Cruiser)...and my last mode of transport was a Series 3 LWB Safari Land Rover.
Sadly, I haven't driven for a coupla years, due to forming cataracts, (I don't feel my vision is good enough)...but when they're sorted out, I fully intend to buy another Series 3...(just love Landie's!).
My wife has a 2-y-o Ford C-Max at the mo, so she's presently the Chauffeur...(but it just doesn't have any character!).

Pat darlin' - you need those 'go faster' white stripes like Starsky & Hutch had.

Sorry to hear that!

If it was up to the doctors I wouldn't have a license either and for the last 2 years have been trying to get me to voluntarily hang up my driving gloves (not that I wear such things).

They can try though, but I'm not giving up that license without a fight.

I'm sure that isn't how you lost your license but thought I'd share my little story.
